Since last night we have been targeted by a nasty layer 7 DDOS attack that hammered our severs for the past 24 hours, causing prolonged downtime, server crash.
This is by far the largest DDOS attack we have ever had in like forever and took a long time to mitigate and fix everything 1 by 1.
We have installed layer 7 DDOS protection, because conventional methods didn't work anymore. Anyways we are back online and sorry for the inconvenience !
I haven't gotten a wank of sleep since last night BTW !
